The Kodak 360 Point-of-Care CR Machine is the next generation in computed radiography solutions designed to fit the needs of small to medium-sized healthcare facilities and clinics. This refurbished CR system provides fast and easy access to quality images at an affordable price. The small footprint provides the capability to perform diagnostic imaging functions at the point of patient care. Users can choose from different scanning modes and image looks to suit their clinical application. This compact system includes a single-plate CR reader, flexible phosphor screens, and a Viztek Opal-RAD Acquire Station PC-based review station.
Productivity, Connectivity and Scalability
The Kodak Quality Control Software, that drives the Kodak 360 System, is designed to streamline clinical workflow and maximize productivity. Quality Kodak Image Processing is used on the Kodak Point-of-Care CR 360 System and is designed to provide high-quality images that meet your diagnostic needs. With its DICOM 3.0 capabilities, the system can be seamlessly integrated with a broad variety of printers, modality equipment, RIS and PACS systems. It is suitable for both, centralized and decentralized workflow environments and can be used right in the exam room.
Computed radiography (CR) systems are highly regarded by hospitals, clinics, imaging centers. Private practice also often utilize them for their flexibility and productivity. CR solutions are designed to replace and upgrade film x-ray processing setups. Once the image/study is converted to digital data via CR cassette, the image can then be viewed at the CR control station, where images are checked for quality and positioning. The central function of the Kodak 360 CR control station is patient demographics, work list management, and quality control. Basic Image enhancement software is included within most CR control stations and is designed to manipulate and/or enhance images. This includes bone and soft tissue visualization. Patient Images are then pushed to either a laser printer (printed on film) or transmitted to storage device / PACS and stored digitally for clinical and/or diagnostic viewing and distribution. The Kodak 360 System is a robust, lightweight tabletop system that provides throughput of over 60 plates per hour (14 x 17 cassette), with optional high-resolution scanning modes. With the flexibility to choose from five different image looks, you are able to customize your image preferences for different exams.

Southern States Imaging CR acquire stations are equipped with Windows 7 Professional and RAID-1 real-time redundant hard drive arrays to meet HIPPA data storage requirements as well as reduce or eliminate potential system downtime. We’ve also included a refurbished HP L2245wg 22″ LCD monitor for high definition image viewing. Paired with OpalRAD acquisition and viewing software this is an excellent value for any family practice, urgent care or new facility that needs to keep costs low while they ramp up their patient volume. The cutting edge Viztek OpalRAD acquisition software allows patient x-rays to be quickly imported into the system and made available for diagnosis much quicker than film. Thus the system also provides the clinic with faster reads, reduced or eliminated film costs and eliminates the need for physical storage space to archive film. These small form factor computers save valuable space on workstation counter tops making them excellent Kodak 360 companions. One certain thing you will not be faced with, is a difficult learning curve. Opal-RAD offers a user interface consistent with many other common computer programs in use today which most users familiar with CR are able to catch on quickly and easily.
